Shipping and Returns
Purchasing: All Mercworx Knives are hand made to order. It is rare that we have any stock on hand. It typically takes about 2 weeks from the time you place your order for us to hand make and ship your knife. If you are shipping out and need the knife by a certain date, please be sure to let us know and we will do all we can to accomodate your request.
Since all knives are hand made to your order, if you cancel an order before delivery or return a knife after delivery, you will be charged a 10% restocking fee. You may return items that are new and unused within 7 days of delivery. We will pay for the shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). You will be responsible for shipping costs to return an unwanted item.
To return and item, please contact Mercworx via phone or email (855-277-4443) or firstname.lastname@example.org to receive your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. If you return an item without an RMA number, you may not be credited properly for your return. This includes items that are shipped back via return to sender method.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. All shipping within the USA and Canada or an APO address is paid for by Mercworx. Shipping to any other location is at your expense. If you order an item to be shipped outside of the USA and Canada, we will contact you with shipping prices and options.
